چکیده

The proliferation of disposable, wearable, and implantable printable electronics requires the development high-performance biodegradable, sustainable electronic components. Often green materials don't have necessary properties for electronics, therefore obtaining ideal a combination multiple materials. A tri-layer dielectric is reported using poly(lactic acid) (PLA), poly(vinyl alcohol)/cellulose nanocrystals (PVAc), toluene diisocyanate terminated poly(caprolactone) (TPCL), which integrated into semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotube (sc-SWCNT) based thin film transistors (TFTs) in top gate bottom contact architecture. PVA provides high constant due to hydroxy groups, cellulose used optimize viscosity, TPCL layer robust hydrophobic surface, PLA eliminates interfacial charge traps present PVAc improves adhesion between substrate. This leads decrease leakage currents reduces polarity at dielectric/semiconductor interface. TFTs fabricated dielectrics led air-stable n-type devices with higher overall performance when compared against PVAc/TPCL bilayer devices.

Solution-processed single walled carbon nanotube electrodes for organic thin-film transistors

Airbrushed single walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) thin films with sheet resistivity <1 kX/ sq. and transparency >80% are used as electrodes for pentacene and regioregular poly(3hexylthiophene) (P3HT) thin-film transistors (TFTs). Airbrushed SWCNT electrodes show low contact resistance in a bottom-contact configuration, comparable to (in the case of P3HT) or lower than (in the case of pentacene) ...

Logic circuits composed of flexible carbon nanotube thin-film transistor and ultra-thin polymer gate dielectric

Printing electronics has become increasingly prominent in the field of electronic engineering because this method is highly efficient at producing flexible, low-cost and large-scale thin-film transistors. However, TFTs are typically constructed with rigid insulating layers consisting of oxides and nitrides that are brittle and require high processing temperatures, which can cause a number of pr...

Printable thin film supercapacitors using single-walled carbon nanotubes.

Thin film supercapacitors were fabricated using printable materials to make flexible devices on plastic. The active electrodes were made from sprayed networks of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) serving as both electrodes and charge collectors. Using a printable aqueous gel electrolyte as well as an organic liquid electrolyte, the performances of the devices show very high energy and pow...
